Well done, Charles! While the cork was brittle, this 2007 Milbrandt has held together well. Dark notes of chocolate, boysenberry and spice. Medium finish with herbal notes balancing out the dark berries. Delicious!

(K Vintners Syrah Milbrandt Wahluke Slope) An exciting nose marked by olive, meat, red fruit, and herbal aromas. Taste doesn’t quite live up to all that the nose promises but a very enjoyable wine for the money. 100% Syrah. Sundance and Pheasant vineyards (Wahluke Slope). Aged in French Burgundy barrels. 13.9% alcohol. 1,396 cases produced.
(K Vintners Milbrandt Vineyard Syrah Wahluke Slope) Lush red fruit including spicy red currant and raspberry. Opens up beautifully on the palate. Lets off a little bit about two-thirds of the way through. An exceptional value.

Last one...still very good. Not very complex but still enjoyable. Don't expect a long life on this one. Drink if you have them.

Delicious cherry fruit nose, with strawberry jam palate and fine acidity. Pleasure to enjoy.
