  Delicious. Had this bottle for New Year's Eve w/ Kristen and Daniel. Opaque-ruby coloring with an outstanding Margaux-esque floral nose. This wine is surprisingly good now, but should last for at least another decade. Notes of dark cherry, pencil led, cassis, yummy.... Wonderfully complex finish.

  This wine has a huge nose, very un-Medoc like, with rich blackberry and cassis fruit. However on the palate this is pure Medoc, with pencil lead, dark cherry, tobacco, and huge tannins that make the wine quite a challenge to drink out of the bottle. Either decant this wine vigorously or open the day before and leave it in the fridge to calm down. But the best thing to do would be to buy this wine, lay it down for 4-5 years, and enjoy it when it comes to maturity, as it is nowhere near that now.
