14.5% alc...I have to say, my opinion of Toro has never been very high...the nose is surely ripe, but bits of spice, blackberry, very, very expressive straight out of the bottle...palate is chocolate, spicy oak, ripe fruit, shows more heat on the palate than the nose indicated - much wood...I'm willing to bet that alc is a bit higher than designated. Enjoyable and flirtatious bottle - for the long haul or necessarily improving over many years, nah, don't think so. For those oak adverse, I'd avoid this bottle due to the overwhelming palate of wood.

Really rich deep temperanillo.....oaky naturally but not overwhelmingly so. Stood up favourably against some more expensive wines. Great value crowd pleaser....needs decanting or running through the vinturi as is very tight on opening.

Surprisingly dumb for a wine that had been so powerful in it's youth. I'm guessing it's closed down rather than past it. Leave alone.
