Very young and strongly built, it has decent complexity, and will benefit from additional time in the cellar, nice dark fruit profile and integrated tannins.

MMMmmmmm..... as good as when I tried it at the cellar door. Powerful bouquet ... perfumey if that's a word :). Not so powerful on the tannins but a little strong on the alcohol. Smooth on the tongue and lingers for a long time after. I'm going to save my second bottle for a looooong time....

Cool climate very spicy. Lots of black fruit cherry. Very long finish.

Wine-Ark Cellar Club Tasting 9 - October 2009. Clonakilla, Yering Station, Olivier Taringa (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): Nose: vague rose perfume, creamy cassis, interesting
Mouth: Licorice, dry tannin, some redcurrant
Nice enough but probably not for me. AUD 58
