  Enjoyed alongside a Le Macchiole Paleo (2013) together with close friends. In a great drinking window, with lots of power and vibrancy remaining. Maybe won't improve from here but certainly not on a downslope. Big, rich red fruit nose, lovely concentrated fruit on the palate with solid tannic structure remaining, though smoothed out now. A really fantastic and enjoyable wine.

  Very good wine, but unfortunately still too young despite it being 15 years old. Tannins are still prominent. There's a nice underlying presence of fruit. Blackberry, Raspberry, and a touch of plum. Too bad this is my only bottle. I would have loved to try this in 5 years.

  Tannins still prominent but fairly balanced. Nice structure. Decant about an hour.
