Nice dark red in the glass with lots of legs. Muted nose of spicebox and cherry is followed by a muted palate, but the finish is quite nice with good grip and a reappearance of the fruit.
One can sense the unrealized potential of this wine - it is said that it has not been realized.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 15% Cab Franc. This is a second label of Chateau Arcins. Garnet color, showing just a little discoloration on the rim. The nose is quite earthy for such a young Bordeaux, there is leather and tobacco upfront, along with dried cherry and prune as secondary aromas and hints of herbs and game. Medium bodied, dry and elegant. The same fruit follow on the palate, together with black currant. Old wood is pretty heavy on the mid palate. There is also earth and game. Tannins are very high, and I would definitely age it for a few more years (retail $22.99)

Deep ruby-red in color with a touch of cocoa on the nose. After being opened for an hour and a half, there were aromas of cherries, blackberries, and cedar. Not one that I would drink on a regular basis, but a good change of pace.

Ruby-red in the glass. Inviting nose, lots of cassis and some bing cherry. Ample flavors of cherry, cassis, blueberry, and some cedar. Tasty. Well-balanced; just a touch heavy, with a long finish.

Nice strong red, smooth with a nice finish. Pairs excellent with beef (no surprise there). Well balanced with various fruit flavors.
