  Paired for our men's night with Beef Carpaccio with honey mushrooms, kohlrabi, black truffle, pecorino. Crazy pairing, crazy wine. So much going on in the nose and palate. Very complex and layered. Beautiful balance, fruit, minerality! Such a treat to have a mature GV proving that this variety belongs in the Classics. Purchased in 2009 for $45 and this drinks like a much more expensive wine!!

  Crazy complex outstanding stuff. Rich golden color. Reminds me of aged Savennieres and aged Hermitage blanc, and Lopez de Heredia and - no, it doesnt remind me of anything - it's one of a kind. Me-ow!

  Golden yellow. Very aromatic stuff. Guessed it was a gewürztraminer. Big fat, mature and rich with a bitterness in the finish. Impressive, but maybe a little pre-mature?
