In my humble opinion, no longer fit to drink. If you got em, get on em. All this had was a car load of tannins and no fruit. My wife, the tannin junkie, choked it down... I could not.

Really interesting bottle. Funky nose, doesn't really blow off with air.
The palate starts off quite savory, with mushroom and soy, followed by a lifting sweet raspberry, followed by a lick of acidity. Surprisingly medium-to-full body (I'd expected something much lighter), and surprisingly soft until the acidity kicks in at the end.
I love the elements here, but they're a bit disjoint. There's enough complexity to keep me coming back. I'm curious how this will hold up in another eight years. Fortunately, I have enough to find out!

Popped and poured. Lighter in color, consistent with the style and low alcohol (12.5%). Nice, old world nose with earth and funky forest floor/wet leaves. Bright sour cherry on the front of the palate with great acid. At first seemed a little thin on the finish as the mid-palate acid was the only note. After about 20 minutes, the finish emerged as the acid gave way to a hint of sweetness and soft tannins.

Very nice, tart red fruits, nice acidity, earthy, great with our rainbow trout and a side of fresh, wild mushroom pasta topped with chevre and fresh herbs.

In theory I should hold this wine to see how long it can go. In practice I keep popping it.
So delicious. Red fruit, forest , acid, balance. My only complaint: gone too fast.
