  This is very good - arrived at with the help of the som. after a run of dead 60s wines, ooops - structure beautifully resolved but still quite vibrant and youthful. Plenty of surprisingly sweet, fruit, with lots of dark cherry and some strawberry, but plenty of mushroom and sous-bois too. Very smooth, elegant, but without the game and sauvage that I've found and loved in other 78s. Not quite the muscle I was expecting either from Bonnes Mares either. Extremely good, but also a little more generic than one would hope.

  What a treat! Slight orange on the edges while ruby throughout. Nose of wild strawberry, plums and minerals. On palate is so elegant, and as one person said "sexy", with clarity of fruit, minerals. The finish was very good with lingering a tamarind taste. Excellent.
