Not being big merlot drinkers, this wine did little to pique our interest in the varietal. It starts off with a relatively nice floral aroma but disappoints when it comes to flavor. The mid-palate fruit is not particularly complex and seems to die early, not a great combination. Probably not worth the expense.

Cedar, wet rocks and touch of black cherry on the nose. Some cherry, tea, cocoa on the palate. Drying tannins on the finish. Good minerality and freshness. Body is lighter than desired.

Tried over 2 days with similar results. The merlot is fruit forward but has ample sweet tannins and acidity. Was a bit hot but not distracting. Oak complements rhis wine. Textyre and finish stop from being outstanding.

Cherry, cassis and a sharp tannin on the finish that sort of ruins this wine for me.
