45 minutes of air, 1/3 used to make a pan jus for porterhouse steaks. Quite pleasant. Barnyard and tight at first, blew off and opened up to a nice balance of ripe dark fruit and 2ndary characteristics of juniper berries, dark cassis and dried blood. Somewhat short finish, but perfect with the steak & rapini.

Peak drinking. Balanced and light compared to most Rhones these days. Dark berries framed by still solid acidity. Nice.

Black fruit, roasted meat, a bit of forest floor. Moderate weight and length. Good with food.

Meaty black fruit with a hint+ of barnyard that doesn't detract overall for me. Rustic style. Good overall. Very good value.

Very nice CDR. Better than average. Seems to be in a prime drinking window, although no need to gulp it done over the next weekend.
