I had a number of bottles still in my cellar and was sure they’d be gone. It is clearly past its prime but the age has given it some rich flavors. I imagine the glass stopper kept it younger than one would expect.

Same aromas of green melon, papaya and waxy notes. On the palate, this was creamy but it felt lighter than the other bottle I tried. The medium acid was still there. Green melon fruit mixes in with a flavor that reminds me of green Skittles. A fun little half-bottle.

Light golden yellow color. Aromas of green melon, papaya, candle wax and mineral. THe palate is rich and full, feels oily, but the medium acid keeps it from being too thick. Green melon and nectarine flavors are backed up by hints of dried apricot and lanolin. A solid pinot blanc, although I'm not sure how much longer I'll hold onto my other bottle.

okay done with my six pack of these. The last one didn't go down as well the first a couple years ago, as it's good wine but high alcohol (certainly more than the stated 13.9) and acidic but not savingly so. Don't feel bad about drinking this up if you feel the impulse.
Am I making this wine sound bad? It not, just that I think I'm getting over giant dry whites (Viogniers, Pinot Blancs, big Chards). It does have backbone but I'd prefer that in my reislings and reds ...
