  • - Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of blackberry, black olive and coffee. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of chocolate with a medium/full body. Oily texture with a medium finish - This was a bottle I left aside for a few years as I got bored of the younger too yammy versions. Time did good as it got way more balanced and lost some overripe fruit. I drank it over a few days and enjoyed it.

  • Fragrant fruit upon pop of cork, but then dead on the nose and tasted green for the next hour or so. After an hour of air, candied fruit on nose, candied fruit, oak, dark chocolate and spice on the palate. Mouth-watering, medium-short finish, pleasant.

  • Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Very dark garnet color. Nice nose of black pepper, black cherries, mushrooms, dried herbs. Excellent on the palate, with good depth of black-fruit flavors. Rich flavors combine with firm acids to yield an austere balance that shows good fruit. Finishes with dryness, grip, and medium tannins. This is a very nice bottle of vino. It has very good flavors and the structure could lead you to hope for improvement over the next several years. It has austerity and richness, tipped toward the former right now.

  • P&P. Dark color. On nose licorice, candy, toffees, aromatic herbs, dates. A bit too much over extraction for me... A bit too dry on palate, medium bodied, medium acidity. Quite a crowd pleaser and a good qpr.

(Verduguez Vover) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-some pomegranate; also some fresh tobacco; hint of mint; quite extracted; smells like a big wine; PALATE-this tastes like lipstick; a creamy chemical action; slightly over-oaked as well; tastes artificial and fruit bomby to me; JM-90; GV-82
