Invecchiato 23 anni ed ancora in perfetto stato. Al naso uno splendido mix di frutta matura rossa, prugne secche ed in confettura, spezie e terziari di legno tostato, cuoio, tabacco. Al palato amplifica il piacere con struttura e corpo di grandissima finezza. Fruttato, ancora perfettamente intenso, unisce austerità e leggerezza ad un'armoniosa eleganza, con note speziate e di terziari amalgamati in modo superlativo. Persistente. Che nettare.

Wine decanted for at least 3hours. Already getting more old brick color. Strong body, full palate, a little overwhelming. Corks were in perfect condition, considerable amount of sediment. In my opinion, wine started the downslope. Not totally to my taste.

Opened and poured into a decanter and drank over 5 hours. Wine rode up to maybe 40% of the cork and fill level was at around the shoulder. Used an ah so to open and cork came out in one piece. Soft tannins, nice acidity. Lots of sediment. Was holding at the end of the session. Long finish.

Absolutely delicious. At its prime with many years left. Bold color. Great legs. Enticing nose is f berries and currant. Excellent balance. A very nice delectable surprise.
