Popped, poured, consumed over next two hours. Medium bodied, well integrated, good balance, a bit of complexity, has developed well. The best of the 2007 Chasseur pinots I've tried.

Ripe and intense, this Sonoma Co Pinot shows off aromas of candied plums and cherries, with a nice back-end spiciness. Fairly straightforward, this wine seemed to neither degrade nor improve with bottle age. The structure of the wine is still very good, showing med intensity tannins and med/med(-) acidity, allowing the wine to get just a little fat and boring on the med length finish. Drink up, this one is not improving further.

Red raspberry, red cherry, and wild berry fruit with orange peel, plum, baking spice, and earth notes. Beautiful acidity and still a nice long finish.
