  Wow, this is a big and delicious Syrah. Loads of black fruit but beautifully balanced, smooth and very long. Just enough kick in the end to suggest it can go several more years and could still improve. I'm waiting 2-3 years before drinking the last bottle, but you definitely don't have to.

  Le vin titre 15,5% et provient de la région de Russian River. La robe est violacée. Le nez est très expansif sur des notes de mûres et de framboises à profusion, torréfaction et légères notes de viandes en arrière-plan. En bouche, les tannins sont très souples, l'acidité est bonne et donne une certaine pogne au vin, c'est très satiné, beaucoup de fruits noirs, finale intéressante. Le vin possède tout ce qu'il faut pour vivre longtemps et se bonifier. À revoir dans quelques années. J'attends avec impatience le 2007 prochainement. 92-93.
