  The good news is that while 'probably' well past it's peak, this 're-gifted' wine was actually quite delicious and continued to open up as we drank it, tasty! - Brick, indian red with ambering rim that actually became darker as the bottle was emptied, a nose of cherry, earth, plum, spice, cola and vanilla, good acidity, complexity and balance with most of the fruit still there, sour, sweet on the palate with very good length, nice! (90 Points).
