Currants and dark fruit flavored with a ripe jammy finish. Surprised by the overall drinkability since I was worried it was getting past it's potential. Happily surprised.

We thought the wine needed to breathe, possibly a candidate for decanting. The aroma is of autumn leaves and apple pie - rustic, leather, and smoke. The palate has a perfect dry mouth feel. Raspberry, craisin, and figs round out the finish for a great tasting wine.
