Brought to us by the same bunch that brings Cupcake, this is a clean, well made wine that over delivers. My only real complaint is the acid, which tastes a little manipulated, like it came out of a 50# bag, is a little rustic. The color though dark red, is not all that intense. The nose is grapey blueberry. The fruit is moderately intense, possible slightly sweet, blueberry, blackberry, black cherry, and plum. Not alcoholic. Not oakey. Not tannic. Not exactly balanced. Has that persistent, almost full bodied, mouth feel, that is so attractive with Shiraz. Too simple to score well, but together enough to easily share the bottle without compunction.

Pacific Pointe Wine Tasting Club - Red Rhone Varietals and Blends Night (Union City, CA): Garnet colored with tight nose, and simple red fruit aroma. On the palate, light-bodied with baked, raisiny one-dimensional cherry flavor. Short finish.
