Has matured wonderfully. Tasted with a 2004 and a 2004 Lily’s garden. Despite 2003 being the hotter year the 2003 was drinking the best. The Lily’s Garden would benefit from further ageing while the 2004 in single bottle is at its peak and a wonderful wine. Drink form now to 2040

A little disappointed in this double Magnum bottle. We had had a Magnum previously, which was drinking very well. Still drinking well and showing signs of great tertiary development. Chocolate, coffee and cooked fruit, not as much spice as the previous bottle with pepper sadly absent.

Decanter 3 hours. Big, stewy, jammy, over ripe black fruits. Heat fades in the decanter, but still a tad overwhelming. Drink within the next 18 months.

This wine was deep purple in colour and there quite a lot of sediment, certainly more than I would expect. It was all stewed and dried fruit on the nose and it was very much like a vintage port on the pallette. While I won't be using my remaining bottles as cooking wine, I was a bit disappointed.

3 liter bottle shared between a few! Opened and decanted for an hour.
Still had plenty of fruit - black cherry, pepper and spice.
