Very dark/ripe fruit with limited aromatics; solid drinker, but not what I usually expect from OR or from Pinot. For the money, I prefer R. Stuart's Big Fire.

Tasting in the Eola Amity AVA (Willamette Valley): Light nose, not much going on, but not completely blank... off balance on the palate, not the greenness we've been tasting with many 2007s today, but there is definitely something about the fruit here that's not quite right. Some spice on the finish, but overall this is completely disjointed with no sense of direction.
