Leather, cigar box, cedar, graphite, and a hint a hint of black currents. This is quite beautiful and expressive on the palate. Tannin is surprisingly youthful for wine that is 72 years old. Very impressed.

This was outstanding. The smoky, tobacco, cedarwood, wet forest, herb, old leaf and cherry nose kept you busy. The palate was just as good, serving up layers of sweet, earthy red berries with a distinctive salty tone in the finish.
