Really nice Viognier that we picked up at Pike & Western in Seattle to pair with Salmon. Salmon's not ready yet, but I can tell this would be a nice match. Full bodied Viognier, with lemon, melon, vanilla and even some tropical fruit, maybe like a pineapple. Good long memorable finish - this could be our "go-to" Viognier moving forward...really nice wine.

This has a melon and stone fruit/peach character that I really like, with good acid and some minerality. Great deck wine.

Wine Blogger's Conference 2010 - White Wine Live Blogging (Wine Blogger's Conference, Walla Walla, Washington): Pears show on the nose, along with some banana and lighter oak scents. The fruit is rich on the palate, and it reminds me of pears. Some spice shows too, along with a bit of heat. The fruit lingers well, and the flavors grow with the intensity of the acidity on the finish. Interesting.

Richly acidic. Enjoyable, but just not my thing.
