  • [Tasted Blind] Really gorgeous wine here. Clearly old-world. After an hour of air the nose reveals pickle brine, crushed brown spice, grilled pork, fire pit, tart red berries, charcoal, and mixed herbs. The palate is low in tannin and high in acid, with a lovely sweet red fruited entry. I figured this must be an old traditionally styled Chateaunuef-du-Pape, or perhaps even a burgundy. Just a beauty.
