Wine & Dine with Rainer Schnaitmann and Ernst Triebaumer (Züblin Vineyard terrace, Stuttgart): Glass: Zalto Burgundy Served from a double Magnum. Wow, what a wine! Beautiful complex burgundy nose with layers of complex tertiary aromas of smoke, bacon, fruit, mushrooms, wood. All of these aromas can also be found on the palate and the looong finish. One of the best german Pinots I have ever tasted so far. I doubt that it will develop much in the future but it will stay at this level for several more years.
