  • 11% alcohol on a Kabinett? This tasted more like a declassified Auslese. Not happy as I was looking for a nice, light refreshing Kabinett. Cork it and I will save it for dessert. A nice wine, but not what I was looking for. Insufficient acidity for my taste. Golden color. I was originally drinking this at cellar temperature (51°). I took it outside and put a chiller on it as it was warm out. It improved significantly colder, increasing the perception of balancing acidity.

  • Light straw in colour with a hint of green. A light nose of lime, apples and slate. Crisp and clean on the medium bodied palate- more of a classic kabinett style - full of mango, peaches, pineapples, pears, slate and lime.Just off dry with a very long finish; very refreshing and moreish. Lovely kabinett and very good QPR: will buy more! Nice now but will last many years yet, (A-).

  • An immense step up from the basic estate. Nicely done at $19. More blue slate and spritzy in style.
