My last bottle. It's very much alive. The fruit is still surprisingly forward, but the structure is still predominate. Unfortunately there is no integration of the tannins and fruit. It's almost that they are on a different trajectory and don't talk to each other. Sill the wine is very well made, but there is not a lot of pleasure here. It really would be best with a steak. 89 points.

Drank my last bottle. This was totally not over the hill. The bottle was well stored in a cold cellar. Not your typical fruit bomb from CA. Rather it had a core of fruit that was well balanced with good structure, tannins, acidity and a long finish. Fantastic for the price.

Too much olive / beef bouillon / bloody meat. I suspect cooked. One way or another, it certainly wasn't a good flavor profile for me, so on to the next bottle.

My first Trespass cab and I was impressed. Picked this up at auction in the last few months for ~$40, which was a really nice buy. The tannins are almost fully resolved but the fruit is hanging in and there are some tertiary elements beginning to show, as well. For my tastes, I'd guess this is at peak. A delicious mid-weight cabernet that was enjoyable on its own but also paired well with grilled beef.

From half bottle and better than 2 years ago. Rich black cherry, olive, violets, with mouthful of minerals and firm tannins.
Drinking really well.
