Luscious and mouth-filling with a rich nose. Closer to an Auslese in character than what one would expect for a Kabinett, although it seems to me that some German riesling producers are bucking a trend of the last 20 years and are unashamedly pushing the traditional sweetness of German riesling instead of trying to cater to the "I don't like sweet wines" crowd with Trocken and Halb Trocken wines. I think there is room for both styles, but I prefer classics like this one. Highly recommended, if probably hard to find by now.

Nice kabinett; bit of stoniness but also quite sweet.

Skurnik/Theise Spring Tasting (City Winry): Sweet. Solid. Ok. Maybe too sweet for the acidity. 89-90+?
