  • The wine is clear and bright with a pale tawny colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium intensity aromas of mushrooms, forest floor, dry cherries, anise and hints of strawberries. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium- harsh tannins and a medium alcohol. It has a medium body and medium intensity flavours of forest floor, anise and hints of red cherries. The finish is medium.

It is an acceptable quality wine. The tannins are too harsh, the wine is too developed and lacks fruit. Anyway it still has a minimum of fruit and it's still drinkable if you like very mature wines. Drink now, not suitable for further ageing.

  • Fruity banana (?) note. Medium bodied, medium but sweet tannins. Not bad and definitely more structured than typical beaujolais.
