  • Had my final bottle of this with lobster scampi w/ squid ink linguine. Absolutely perfect. Really stupidly good. As the bottle I had 5 years ago, I am not sure why it surprises me how good this is. After all, it is a PC Chablis from Les Forets (which dates back to the 14th century). It may be that I only paid $20 for this back in the day, which today seems insane. Perfect citrusy fruit, gobs of minerals, laser beams of acid, and a chalky oyster-shell finish that goes on far longer than it really should.

  • Drinking great at the moment and way above its price point w true PC character. Green apples, under-ripe pears, chalk, steel, and wet stone. This is very typical and very unctuous. Hard to stop drinking. I think this has aged beautifully and has increased in length I would gather. In the zone, but will last a few more years well-stored.

  • Pop and pour and this was drinking great right out of the bottle. Vibrant and fresh - impossible to put the glass down. Nice combination of roundness on the palate, mineral intensity and precision. Good length and complexity. I could drink this every day.

  • This was the seventh bottle of a case already consumed. Too bad there is not another case. Wonderful to taste the fruit and have a couple of years under its belt to subdue the acidity. So fresh and vibrant. This will be solid for years.

  • Green apple and lemon palate, light to medium bodied with medium+ acidity. Nice cut and decent balance. Only nit is that there is some noticeable oak influence and it finishes with a touch of bitterness. I will hold my remaining bottles for a couple of years and hope for no prem-ox.
