A: medium gold, a little light on the bubbles N: dried apple, dried orange skins, toffee, almond paste P: dry, high acidity, medium (+) body, pronounced intensity and medium (+) finish C: I love it. 18yr old chambers. Fruit is well developed. I think this is outstanding quality. I would drink this in the next 5 years. Not a lot of room for further development.

Vertical magnum tasting of 1999, 2000 and 2002.
The 2002 was surprisingly as evolved the 1999. The 2000 came of as the tastiest and also the freshest of the three vintages.
Fine, but not exceptional.

Hot Paris Nights-Mainly Whites; 6/26/2010-6/28/2010 (Paris-Various Locales): Pale and frothy. As light as the Drappier was for a Pinot Noir wine, this was as full for a Blanc de Blancs, but dry, exquisite balance and minerality.
