  Stumbled upon this forgotten bottle while re-organizing the wine shelves. I was worried when I entered it into CT and found the drinking window was long past. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. Now, it is definitely past its peak, but the wine still had some nice qualities to it.
  On the nose I got some creamy fruit, like a fair scone scent. Plus a bit of acid and leather.
  Medium body and fruit flavor, strawberry/raspberry, followed by some fresh vegetables, crisp green pepper and snap peas, with a dark coca finish.
  There was enough there to remind me why I bought this wine after a tasting at the winery years ago, and for me to kick myself for not opening it a couple of years sooner.
