  • This bottle had been languishing in the cellar - I had the impression it had loads of tannins and needed time. Well, it had lots of time. Thought I might have missed the boat when I finally opened it, after having noticed the drinking window posted on Cellartracker, but it was surprisingly good. The tannins had definitely been beaten into submission, and the wine was smooth and delicious. Now for my next 13-year experiment....

  • This is a rather delightful finesse driven wine backed up by brambly blackberry fruit and soft tannins that yield minerals, sweet black fruit, and toasty oak on the finish.
