Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Our last bottle. Aromas of apple and perfumed musk, with slatey notes. The palate is light, ethereal and even. Nothing seems out of place – fresh acid is discreet, mouthfeel is soft and clean, yet with a hint of strength underneath. Very good, far better than the average pinot gris.

  • From the CD a few months ago, and the second bottle we've tried. Has a broad similarity to the better-known Marsanne, but is more stony, flinty and mineral-like. Moderately fresh acid, bone-dry, and a light yet persistent finish that's just a tiny bit thick. Interesting, and good value.
