Continuing my foray into white burgundy. A light-medium yellow in the glass, the nose was of stone fruits, a hint of pineapple, and oak. The palate was rich, nearing opulence, with pear and peach, good acidity, obvious oak influence, and prominent minerality. The surprise was that this was not at all buttery, which I must admit disappointed me a little. The mid-palate was full on this wine and the finish was on the order of 20 seconds. All in all, a valuable experience but did not really resonate with my palate.
