  Lighting was dim so could not evaluate color well, but it appeared to be light golden. Vanilla, citrus and stone on the nose. Very nice on the palate with creamy citrus, vanilla and mineral but in addition to vanilla some oak notes. Wine was Excellent but could have been Outstanding with more deft oak.

Rich and round, but still with good acidity to give it drive. Nice minerally finish and a nice pairing with butter poached with melted leeks and king trumpet mushrooms.

  I think the bottle was damaged as the wine showed sherry notes on top of the prominent botrytis. A less than perfect bottle. Bought via gray market
