Nose of dark cherries and earth (poop). Bitter tannins dominate the taste. Vinturied + 90 minutes of decanting and this is improved but it's still too bitter and dry for my palate. Day 2, tannis subsided only slightly, but still too bitter. Just not that great of a wine.

Surprising smooth mouthfeel, dark fruit, some oak, nice long finish, dry, not super complex, but pretty darn good. For the price, this would be a good house wine, and would pair nicely with a rustic roast.

Very dry, dark cherries, muted nose with some earth. A hint of cedar. Clearly a Bordeaux, not obviously an $11 bottle. Ample tannins.

Not bad for an inexpensive Bordeau. One demensional, but strong on the earth tones and a nice hint of oak.

Dark purple. Jammy blackberry, but it is fairly one dimensional. The alcohol is more prominent than I like. Still, not a bad wine for the price.

Nose is earthy, with some candy fruit and oak.
