This is really, really good. Still is quite youthful but has developed complexity and balance over the years. Black cherry, roasted nuts, bacon, and minerals. Absolutely impeccable balance between the fruits and savory elements but also with such beautiful fragrance of Syrah typicity. In such a great place now but plenty of life ahead.

Fully mature Syrah with integrated tannins at this point. A bit hot on the nose showing it’s age, with black fruit, a bit of funk and a smokiness. Would drink up in the few years.

An incredible mature syrah. The color has no bricking or indication of its age. The nose is just amazing with some floral notes. Smokiness, bacon, huge fruit. I would never guess this to be 17 years old if I didn't know. Delicious and I would not be in a rush to drink my last bottle.

Mature, full-bodied wine with leather and blood notes on nose and palate. Fruit somewhat diminished at this point, but overall still going strong after 16 years and I suspect that it can provide 2-3 more years of nice drinking for those who like aged, mature wines.
