I opened this when friends came over on 11/10/17. It was the last of the three bottles I bought at the winery in 2010. It had a deep and very rich bouquet of dark chocolate, coffee, dried cherry, prune and spice aromas. The palate was intense, smooth and round with flavors that followed the nose.

Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: Somehow they called this the "2013 Port" since they were releasing it in 2013, but it sounded like it's a solera style, NV. And holy crap was this terrible. Just an absolute mess of alcohol. Offered no interesting character what so ever... just a big wall of booze.

I opened this for my wifes birthday party on 1/7/12. It had a terrific, fragrant bouquet of dark chocolate, dried cherry, prune and spice aromas. The palate was intense, smooth and round with flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, prune, cherry liqueur, and spice. 92+

We had this at the end of our 1/22/11 Lamb & Shiraz dinner. It was awesome with caramel, dark chocolate, prune, raisin and spice on both the nose and palate…truly delicious with surprisingly little fruit. Our group’s average score was 93.4.

Sweet. Good color. The flavors are marred by an intense vegetal overtone. The wine lacks depth.
