Medium intensity gold colour as expected from an Eastern European white. The nose is floral under which raisiny notes overwhelm. There is a minor botrytis undertone as well as ripe stone fruit. The medium body is supported by good acidity but the mid palate lacks enough fruit to carry that. The colour and the bitterness suggest over extraction and fermentation with the stems and stalks resulting in a long but extremely astringent finish.
