  Nice ruby color, light brett on the nose, dry with initial brett. Medium fruit has to fight for ascendency over the bitter elements, good acid tannin balance, oak is in there, but has a hard time showing. Super wine in years past, lesson learned; do not buy more than you can drink, do not age too long if wine not built to age. When brett blows off, it will be more drinkable.

  Medium ruby, bretty nose. Dry tannins, initially brett dominates, dissipates with hour open time, tart fruit, ripe cherries. Way off from former glory. Need to drink up. it went from like a lot to just passable for the cooking pot. after 3 hrs the brett has gone, decant or air. 2 days later the brett have left with fruit, dry blackberry showing. Let's drink these puppies now before they piddle on the carpet.

  Dk ruby, dry fruity with tannins, cherry, blackberry. Medium body, nice smooth mouth feel, Hint of brett and light tannins on the finish. These are showing some bottle variation and are at the drink now stage.
  Day 3; loganberry nose. Medium to moderately full body, good fruit, ripe Bing cherry, Blackberry with some tart, green stem tannins. The early oak has subsided, leaving mostly fruit and acids. I liked the oakey aspects of the earlier wine. Time to drink up.

  Dark ruby, strong cherry, cassis nose. Dry, heavy body with strong acid and oak. Tart cherries, evergreen blackberries, slight bitter, bell pepper and strong tannins. Needs some air to mellow.
