Still huge, tons of fruit and lots of alcohol too. Very dark color but there's a hint of orange or brown to it, it's not completely purple. My first thought on the nose was that it is oxidized, but that bit of oxidation is working well with the huge fruit. A little too much like cough syrup, but it's Aussie, so what did I expect? I wouldn't buy this wine again, but it's been an interesting experiment to see 10+ years after vintage date. The score reflects the fact that this wine is correct and without major flaw, but it's a reflection of its pedigree, which is what it is.

This has been in deep storage for nearly 10 years. I expected it to be nearly dead, but it is actually fairly good. No secondary characteristics at all though. Far less exuberant fruit than years ago. Tasted like a pleasant wine by the glass at a local bar. No reason to age these but no reason to throw them away if you still have them.
