Beautiful rich transparent colour. Few aromas. There was quality evident but it remained tightly coiled. Day 2 and nose is much more giving but I’d be hard pressed to say it was Burgundian. The mouthfeel really began to improve and it remained sharp at times. Ageing for 4 or 5 years might be of benefit. There are other options I'd rather pursue.
