Blind Pinot at the Corsi's: Tasted Blind. On the nose Horsey, Gamey and some forest floor. Wow, where is the fruit? A little thin and provides a flat finish. Call it Rustic, but not special. ' I'll call you, don't call me.'

Medium gold color. Somewhat reticent nose with lemony fruits, nuts and minerals. Hazelnuts, pears and lemons on the palate, backed by some mineral notes-- medium bodied, fairly low acidity, but identifiably Burgundian with it's nuttiness and Mersault-like character.

Pale straw yellow color. Somewhat tight nose with minerals dominating some lemon fruit aromas. Good punch on the palate, with significant minerals balancing lemons, pear and nutmeg flavors. Medium to full bodied, with a silky and plush feel and perhaps low-ish acidity, but the dominant minerality provides good balance, and continue nicely on the lingering finish.
