  Tät, mörk röd färg. Allmänintrycket är att den känns yngre än förväntat. Medel syra och tanniner och påtaglig alkohol. Jag måste försöka bortse från att stilen inte är min favorit. Fortfarande svulstig frukt och ektoner som slår en i ansiktet! Hade jag provat blint är det fullt möjligt att jag gått för en traditionell Rioja med åratal på amerikans ek. Om man bedömer för vad det är - ett mycket bra vin ändå. Även om jag personligen inte sörjer över att jag inte har fler...

  From magnum. Popped, decanted and poured. Aromas of dill, blackberry, dusty berry, currant and hint of iron. Flavors of blackberry, currant, black cherry, dash of cocoa and hint of iron. Ends with a nice finish of 20-25 seconds with black cherry notes. Reading the other notes I expected something far more mature but this was tasting relatively young for it's age because it was from magnum. Still had some really nice fruit.

  Wine has taken on tea/leathery notes. Fruit and tannins have taken a backseat. Is drinking really well and paired nicely with roasted miso-soy glazed cod.

  Decanted 3 hours. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, molasses and black olive. It tastes like blackberry, bramble, red currant, vanilla, bark, game and raisin. The body is medium/full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
