This was a terrific bottle shared at an old wine dinner towards the end of the evening. A harmonious mix of blackberry, cherry, and mocha notes with a hint of oak. Nicely integrated and lingering finish. Popped and poured and it got better as the night wore on. I have one more bottle that I will wait on for a few more years. Really great stuff.

Bright, clear purple in color. Light, floral perfume on the nose. Black raspberry, blueberry, sour cherry, a hint of cola on the palate. Almost fully integrated tannins. This has become a bit lighter and more nuanced with age. Still requires several hours to reveal its complexity.

A fabulous Spring Mtn offering that just gets better with age. Big, full floral nose. Deep, opaque, ruby in color. Black raspberry, sour cherry, mocha and a hint of oak on the palate. Full bodied with a long lingering finish.

Last taste in 2015. Still a perfect cabernet. Went well with grilled filet mignon. Still ready to drink. Perhaps at peak, and, plenty of bottle life left.

Classic Spring Mountain fruit. Blackberry, blueberry and sour cherry balanced with a bit of leather and baking spice.
