There are no surprises on the palate though; this has a dirty quality, accompanied by a gritty astringent quality; light/medium-bodied but all in pieces, with a short finish and just scattred remnants of red fruit with no true development apparent. Should have been better; something wrong here. Bloody corks. You don’t find this shit with screwcaps, you know.

Lovely spice on the nose, but the palate didn't live up to the bouquet. When it was first opened I really enjoyed the wine, but after a couple of hours in the decanter it became a bit thin & acidic. Can't see it cellaring & would be drinking up now if I had any more - lovely food wine though.
