Fruity and vigorous, this offers ripe, juicy, almost candied aromas of cherries, pencil shavings, and marzipan on a bed of red fruit. Long, tightly wrapped, and filled with white pepper and Asian spices that makes this feel frisky in the mouth. It gets fruitier and riper with air shedding some obvious youth along the way. Has potential to get better. Decant or give it another year.

Immediately upon opening this was nothing short of fermented Kool-Aid - absolutely horrible! Poised to empty down the sink, I allowed it to sit and get it's bearing and steeled myself for a second taste (yes - the first was THAT bad!). Became drinkable with some air, not to mention some cheese and almonds, showing a bit of cherry cola and red fruit, but not *nice*.
Not the most complex Pinot but very delicious. The nose of red fruit jumps out of the glass. Smokey cherry with great mouthfeel. Drinking great right now.

tannic, highly acidic and sharp when opened. after one hour will soften just slightly. This wine is way past its prime and almost undrinkable

Thinner, fruitier. Not full body.
