Uncorked at 7am, decanted at 5pm, poured at 6:40pm. Ripe red fruit aroma, tinged with floral accents. Red berries, pomegranate and baking spices coat the palate, fading into a dusty, earthy finish lasting 40+ seconds.
This wine is in a great place right now. Very enjoyable, though not over the hill by any measure. Relish the silky, satiny texture with fine sweet tannins. Superb now, very ready to drink over the next 2-3+ years

This bottle was superb! My last one was disappointing, this one was the star of the evening. No bricking at all. Beautiful color, lovely nose. Rich lush dark fruit and plenty of oak left. Medium tannins. Elderberry, dark currant, leather notes.

Drinking beautifully right now. Show stopper at the birthday party with brisket. All those lucky enough to get some raved about it. Tannins have melted away. Maroon with almost no orange on the edges. Dark red fruit on the palate. Incredibly balanced.

Dark red color, dark berry nose with a light floral note, dense dark berry fruit that was quite complex, tannins were well integrated, good balance, medium weight with a long finish. Overall we thought the wine has aged beautifully and is at peak now. Tasted pretty good with our prime rib eye steaks.

Fully ripened black cherries, juicy black currants, moderate oak and some spices (mostly sage) were dominant. The tannins were firm but mellow and there was a light sediment which made it somewhat thick and chewy. A once great wine is beginning to fade away, but very slowly.
