  • Fantastic! Notes of toasty oak, jasmine, pear and apricot. Great balance, with a long finish.

  • Excellent, much, much better than the first two bottles we had which were green and herbaceous. Very precise, with apricot, good minerality and toasty oak. Excellent balance, with a long finish. This wine is a terrific Chassagne premier cru, FINALLY!

  • Another bottle opened at the same time: almost totally muted. Clean characteristics with some apples, citrus, dairy products and oak. But somewhat flabby and without the slightest complexity. There's obviously something wrong here. Not that I would have thought so, without the other bottle just being opened.

  • Light yellow with greenish hints.
Yellow fruit on the nose: apple, citrus and melon. Spices like cinnamon etc., almond, hazelnut and mushroomy nuances.
Dry, medium fruity and medium bodied wine with nicely balanced acidity. Medium toasty and intensively spicy oak and good minerality coming through.
Very nice spicy and quite complex Chassagne-Montrachet drinking very well at the moment.
